A change in the window
We’ve been waiting for some new prom frocks to come into stock for a while now, with a sumptuous red dress amongst them; what better for a Christmas window display!! But at 10am this morning, when I started to remove all the purple, silver and gold, they still hadn’t arrived, so I put a sparkly pale pink dress, Prom Frock PF9015, with dazzling beads and sequins in the window instead. As ever, it looked stunning; Christmassy too. The décor fans out from the waist in a swirl, covering the ruched waist panel and spreading up to the bust. It reminds me of snowflakes. What do you think?
So, the purple has gone (it will be back!) and the pink is now catching the eye of all the lunch-time passers-by. And just as I am putting in the finishing touches (Touch Ups Cinnamon Multi Glitter shoes- party perfect!) and listening to people’s lovely comments on the window, a parcel arrives in the shop.
Yes, you guessed it. Prom dresses. Including the most gorgeous full length red gown, called Pippa, from Ruby Prom.
So, the pink has gone (it will be back!) and the red is now catching the eye of all the passers-by (but it’s not lunch-time anymore)!
Now, this dress, will really get people talking as it is truly stunning! It’s the most fabulous shade of red (Ruby Prom call it Firecracker) and it has beautiful sparkling diamantes, beads and sequins on the straps. It is a figure hugging slim jersey fabric that is so smooth to touch and it has a wonderful drape. There’s a keyhole neckline, and the diamante shoulder straps fall into a ‘V’ shaped back neckline. I’d love to try this one on, but I’m not taking it out of the window as I’d have to redo the display!
Twice in one day is enough.
