Vintage yet happening

Back in the early eighties when I first started work as a footwear operative ( working in a shoe factory applying glue to soles ) the shoes of the day were stiletto full court pointed toe.
This pair is a great example of the court shoe of that time. I found this image on eBay.

Today ,We are starting to see the return of the humble stiletto, and I think it resembles its cousins from the fifties, like this vintage pair.

I’d like to introduce you to Vivian 2013

Vivian has been launched by Rainbow club for 2013 in there wedding shoe range. This little beauty follows the lines of a standard court shoe and is uncomplicated, uncluttered, simplistic and affordable at £59.
Vintage Bride

As a Bridal shoe, she fits well in a vintage themed event, but she also is bang up to date, as I'm sure you will see more styles like this hitting the high street.
Vivian comes in dyeable satin and with the use of shoe trims, this shoe can be very versatile indeed.
